Working at the ritz charles this year has brought lots of volunteer opportunities. Before each shift, I would get there early, and help with set up and other things Raini or other staff needed. Whether this was loading up the trucks, or even after events cleaning up. I would stay after hours and make sure everything was all clean and the way it is supposed to be before driving back to muncie in wee hours of morning. Raini rocks, the Ritz rocks for letting me volunteer. always 5/5 stars with them.

During the last month, I have been able to volunteer with the Ritz Charles in Carmel. I was waiting to submit to see how many hours Raini was going to give me.
Before clocking into shifts, I would help Raini with everything she needed prior to the start of our shift. This was loading up trucks, unloading, as well as organizing things in the unit (decor for events, organizing the chairs needed , exc)

For this, I have been being a volunteer mentor for a younger child who is in mini 4h / first member, and teaching them what to be doing. I will be continuing to do this throughout this 4h year.

With my schedule being insane, it has been tough to get hours, and this was a great way for me to impact the youth while doing something i love (teaching, 4h, being outside, exc)

We were on a team wrapping gifts for families! My team wrapped three to four families gifts in this time frame, and it was so fun seeing all the presents that the kiddos were getting.
